The Shakuhachi and the Stone

It is much better than meteor for me. --Yushin
Hangzhou, Zhejiang

Stone tablet commemorating the place where Buddhist temple 护国仁王禅寺 was located. This is where Kakushin 觉心 studied Zen/Chan from Mumen Ekai/Wumen Huikai 无门慧开 and learnt shakuhachi from Zhang Can 张参.

Over decade ago the main hall of the temple still stood there, although it was not a place of religious cult anymore, only a part of the Zhejiang Arts College campus.
Now all is gone. The table was erected in 2006.
